Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Inspirity ("we", "the service") is a content-planning tool that helps you analyse your Instagram presence, discover trends and plan and publish campaigns. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, where it is stored and how you can remove it.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — the email address and display name you sign up with, used solely to authenticate you.
• Instagram connection data — when you connect an Instagram account we store your Instagram user ID, username, profile details, granted permissions and an access token. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser or to other users.
• Instagram analytics — aggregated metrics for your account and your own posts (reach, views, interactions, saves, shares, followers), retrieved from the official Instagram Graph API.
• Uploaded media — the images and videos you upload, plus technical metadata (file name, size, dimensions, duration, MIME type) and a cryptographic content fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) used only to detect duplicate uploads so the same file is not stored twice.
• Campaign data — campaign names, schedules, captions, hashtags, instructions you write and the plans generated for you.
• Public trend data — publicly available posts, hashtags and comments collected for the topics you choose to research. This is public content; we do not collect private profiles, direct messages or contact details.

3. How we use it

Your data is used only to operate the features you request: producing analytics, generating campaign plans, recommending templates, and publishing posts to the Instagram account you connected. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

4. AI processing

Campaign plans, media analysis and trend summaries are produced by third-party AI models accessed through our provider. Captions, instructions, uploaded media descriptions and public trend content may be sent to those models to generate output. This content is not used to train the models.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database and object storage operated by our cloud provider, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Media files live in a private bucket and are only served through short-lived signed links to you. Row-level security rules ensure each account can access only its own records.

6. Retention and deletion

• Uploaded media can be deleted at any time from My Media. Deleting removes the underlying file from storage immediately and detaches it from future publications.
• Disconnecting an Instagram account revokes and deletes the stored access token.
• Ask us to delete your account and all associated campaigns, analytics and media are permanently removed.
• Public trend data collected for research is retained only while the related topic exists.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
